The most obvious improvement is the new design. Not only is the site more
visually appealing – note the animated logo when the page
loads – but it is also easier to navigate, with TCE’s
current focus and campaigns located in a prominent area on the home page.
The site is more interactive
with two Blogs. We encourage you to use this
as a resource for expressing your views and concerns on TCE’s
work or other environmental and public health issues. The TCE Enviro Blog
tracks and updates you on TCE’s campaign progress and
our work organizing communities around
Everything you need to make an
immediate impact with a contribution to TCE is available on the
"Donate" page. Another way to support TCE and cut down on eWaste is to responsibly recycle your old cell
phones, palm pilots, pagers, and their accessories through the “Donate
Your Cell Phone” page.
Your letters, faxes and other
communications with decision-makers play a key role in our victories. Check out
the “Take Action” page to use downloadable letters when
sending important and time sensitive messages to your elected officials and
corporate policy makers.
Please take a
moment to update your eList profile
on the "eList Signup" page. Your
dollars go further and our mailings and e-mails are more effective when we have
accurate information about our members.
We’ve had a lot of success with trash
and eWaste issues. To get the big picture, go the
"Home" page, click on “Recycling for This Century”
and watch the “Zero Waste (video)”.
If you want to learn more about our
executive director, the staff, or TCE’s
board members, visit the “About TCE” page. There is also a TCE
canvassing video on this page.
Our hope is that this website becomes
a tool for you and TCE to be even better advocates for our health and the
environment. Please let us know what you think!
